January was an unusually busy month for the Tulsa Real Estate market! In the five counties that make up the Tulsa Metro Area (Tulsa, Wagoner, Rogers, Creek and Osage), there were 857 homes that changed hands in the month of January. That’s higher than any year going to back to AT LEAST 2012! While January is almost always the slowest month of the year for the Real Estate market, 2020 January transactions nearly surpassed February 2019 numbers. But what does that mean for you?
First, if you’re thinking of potentially selling your home, now is a GREAT time to do so. Inventory is down, and prices are up. Of course that doesn’t mean that anyone NEEDS to sell their home right now, but if it’s something you’ve been considering, now is the time to get more info and to see how much your home may be worth.
Second, if you’re a buyer, you need to educate yourself on the home buying process before you get into the market. Because homes are selling so quickly on the market right now, it is VERY important to make sure you have a good understanding of how the process works so you don’t rush into a commitment you aren’t ready to make.
If you want to know how much your home might be worth in today’s market, or if you want to know more about the home purchasing process, we’re happy to help provide that information. Call us at 918-417-6288, or email firstname.lastname@example.org!
